Tuesday Night Supper Club--link up no. 17

i hope everyone had a wonderful week. i was busy, busy, busy. we hosted thanksgiving this year at our cabin in the mountains.  hubster and i spent a few days clearing cobwebs and sprucing up the place before our guests arrived.  we made 4 birds and i just put the last batch of turkey stock on the stove.

i was reflecting on what i am thankful for, and one of the many things is you...those of you that participate week after week, those of you who don't link up, but follow and read...and even those of you that stop by occasionally... so...this week, i will draw a name for a $50 gift certificate to bake it pretty.com
(full disclosure--this is not a sponsored give-a-way---i am paying for the certificate with cold hard cash)

here is how you can enter to win
1.  one entry for each week linked up to supper club since week #8 (so 1 entry for each link week 9-17)
2.  one additional entry for a comment on this week's link up
3.  one additional entry each time i see you commented on other supper club participants (must have stopping by from TNSC or some indication you came from here to visit noted in the comment and must comment by thursday december 2nd 7pm pst)
4.  must have a way to contact you without having to hire a private investigator.  please make sure that i can email you through your comment. if i can't find you, you can't win.

winner will be announced on next week's supper club page, and will be chosen by random.org.  the gift certificate will be mailed directly to you from bake it pretty.
--i hope you win because it is a great website!--
THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED

before we link up i have to tell you about last week's goodies that i actually tried.
i needed a quick and easy recipe for cranberry sauce and i made this one from--from my kitchen to yours--i didn't have the dried cranberries, but it came out great anyway. the lemon makes such a difference!
i am almost at my wits end with leftovers, but these enchiladas from debbie does dinner, are amazing and low in calories--guilt free goodness.  i also love this recipe for an asian inspired dinner from frugal follies.

now it is time to link up. if you are new to the supper club, please check this out before linking up.  and remember...this is a club---so visit some of your fellow participants!

  9. This is my first time linking up to your party, thanks so much for hosting. I made butternut squash and carrot soup from complete scratch. I saw you made a roasted butternut squash which looks very fun as well. I may have to give that one a try next time. I'm happy to be your newest follower and hope to link up more in the future.

  12. that is a good question joanna---no, you do not have to comment here for each comment you make on other blogs. i will go to each blog and cross reference. if you could just put a TNSC or tuesday night supper club notation in there, it will make it easier for me to spot ya. thanks!
